Comms UK use VoIP Technology
Utilising the existing data network, Comms UK have installed a Toshiba Telephone System with a Quality of Service voice link which runs a number of the extensions as VoIP handsets. This has been achieved without additional cabling as existing computer points were used to run these handsets. The new automated absenteeism facility allows the reporting of student absence any time of day or night.

St Albans Doctors Surgery
Comms UK's solution to the early morning rush
Bournemouth Doctor's Surgery St Albans Medical Centre is one of the number to benefit from Toshiba technology. The new system allows additional operators to log in during the early morning rush to assist the receptionists in dealing with a very high volume of calls first thing. This reduces stress for both patients and staff by allowing calls to be answered quickly and reducing the number of times patients have to ring before successfully getting through to the surgery.
